Frequently Asked Questions:

What Does it mean to provide Cash‑Based, Concierge Physical Therapy & Wellness care for Athletes?

1. What does “cash‑based” physical therapy mean?

It means you pay us directly—no insurance. That lets us give you one-on-one, hands-on sessions without delays, caps, or approvals.

2. Why doesn’t V3 PT accept insurance?

We reject insurance limitations to deliver truly personalized, evidence-informed care—faster results, deeper focus. You're not just another number.

3. What conditions or clients do you specialize in?

We serve sports, tactical, and endurance athletes who demand results. Whether you're recovering, preparing, or pushing limits, our concierge model supports your unique needs.

4. Do I need a doctor's referral?

No referral is required. You can directly book your evaluation or wellness session and get started immediately.

5. What can I expect during my first visit?

Expect personal attention from start to finish—a movement and performance assessment, hands-on treatment, and a customized plan aligned with your sport or goals.

6. How do session types and pricing work?

  • Discovery Visit (no treatment: 20 mins): FREE

  • Comprehensive Performance Assessment (75 mins): $275

  • Elite Treatment Session (60 mins): $225

  • Performance Treatment Session (45 mins): $200

  • Targeted Express Clinical Session (30 mins): $175

  • Shockwave Focus Session (30 minutes): $195

7. Why choose V3 PT?

Because we’re different: no crowded clinics or rushed care. Just expert-level, athlete-focused treatment—delivered on your terms to enhance performance, recovery, and resilience. Costs are transparent.

8. What is dry needling and how does it help athletes?

Dry needling is a technique where thin monofilament needles are inserted into trigger points — tight, irritable knots in muscle tissue — to release tension, reduce pain, and restore normal movement. For athletes, it's particularly effective for stubborn muscle tightness, overuse injuries, and accelerating recovery between training sessions. Dr. Visintainer is a certified Dry Needling Specialist.

9. What is blood flow restriction (BFR) training?

BFR training uses a specialized cuff to partially restrict blood flow to a limb during exercise. This allows athletes to build strength and muscle using very light loads — making it ideal for post-injury rehab when heavy loading isn't yet appropriate. It's safe, evidence-based, and highly effective for maintaining fitness during recovery.

10. What is radial shockwave therapy?

Radial shockwave therapy delivers acoustic energy pulses into damaged tissue to stimulate healing, break down calcifications, and reduce chronic pain. It's especially effective for conditions like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, patellar tendinopathy, and hamstring insertional pain that haven't responded to other treatments. Most athletes complete 4–6 sessions for full results.

11. How is sports physical therapy at V3 different from a regular PT clinic?

At most clinics, you'll see a physical therapist for the first few minutes and spend the rest of your session with an aide or doing exercises alone. At V3, every minute of every session is spent one-on-one with Dr. Visintainer. There are no handoffs, no crowded schedules, and no generic protocols — just expert, individualized care built around your sport and your goals.

12. What is the Tactical Athlete Discount (TADD)?

V3 PT offers a special discount for tactical athletes — military, law enforcement, fire and EMS. Ask about the TADD when booking your first appointment.

15. Where is V3 Physical Therapy located and who do you serve?

V3 Physical Therapy is located at 245 N Main Street, Suite 203, Ambler, PA 19002. We serve athletes across Ambler, Blue Bell, Lansdale, Horsham, and the greater Philadelphia and Montgomery County area.
